Kasautii Zindagii Kay’s Original Prerna And Komolika Reunite: Shweta Tiwari-Urvashi Dholakia Bring The House Down!
Last night, the entire cast of original Kasautii Zindagii Kay got together for a fun night. We bring to you some exclusive pictures from their reunion which was attended by Shweta Tiwari and Urvashi Dholakia too
Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 is making big noise on Television. And looks like the nostalgia has hit the original team of Kasautii too. No wonder, a few from the original series got together to catch-up with each other.
Well yes, the original team of Kasautii Zindagi Kay met at Yazu-Pan Asian Supper Club, Andheri (West), last night. Shweta Tiwaricame in with family- hubby, son and daughter. Urvashi Dholakia was also present along with a few more members from the team. We bring to you a few exclusive pictures from the get-together.

But we surely missed original Anurag Basu, played by Cezzanne Khan and Ronit Roy aka Mr Bajaj. We hear that Cezzanne was a part of the WhatsApp group this team had made to coordinate this reunion; however, he couldn’t make it as he had to travel out of the country. And Ronit was not a part of that chat group, we wonder why!
Talking about Kasautii Zindagii Kay2, the original cast has been supportive of the new team. While Erica Fernandes aka Prerna and Parth Samthaan aka Anurag Basu, have received average response, it’s Hina Khan, who plays newage vamp, Komolika, stealing the show.
You may recall, we spoke to Urvashi Dholkia about Hina stepping into her big shoes and she had told us, “Ekta (Kapoor) put her trust in me 18 years ago, the same she is doing now on Hina. Ekta has an eye for detail. Ekta has an eye for performers. Like she extracted what she wanted from me, I am sure she will extract it from Hina too. The baton has been passed and I wish Hina 'Good Luck' in all honesty.” We also asked her if comparisons between Hina and her will become the talk of the town and she had replied, “Comparisons will be there and you really can't stop them from doing that, but people eventually catch on. And let's take the case of millenials. They probably don't even know me, it would relatively easy for them to relate to Hina.”
